Object recognition by barcode, RFID or GPS

07.05.2012 Le code-barre et le Tag RFID sont souvent utilisés pour l'identification d'équipements. Est-ce que la mise en place d'un code barres ou Tag RFID  est vraiment nécessaire ? Quand on considère qu'un tel système est relativement coûteux à mettre en place, il vaut la peine d'évaluer  la reconnaissance d'équipement grâce à ses coordonnées géographiques en utilisant le GPS. Le principe de fonctionnement est simple: Chaque objet à identifier est référencé avec ses coordonnées géographiques correspondantes. Ensuite, les données sont  disponible sur l'appareil mobile  tel qu'un Tablet ou un smartphone. Dès que l'agent de maintenance se trouve avec son appareil mobile dans un rayon de 5 mètres d'un objet spécifique, le logiciel détecte automatiquement les objets à proximité. Les tâches correspondantes sont affichés et un compte rendu peut être saisi. Cette méthode est particulièrement adaptée pour la détection d'objets statiques.

Voici deux exemples:

Prestataire de  service: le centre d'appel du prestataire reçoit l'appel d'un client annonçant que  la ventilation est arrêté. Grâce aux coordonnées GPS,  le technicien se rend rapidement sur les lieux et à l'arrivée, l'objet est automatiquement reconnu par le smartphone grâce aux coordonnées GPS. Le technicien effectue les travaux de réparation nécessaires et saisit le compte rendu sur le champs. Ainsi, il économise le temps de recherche de la balise code-barre ou RFID pour la quittance qui entre temps aurait pu disparaitre.

La distribution et le transport d'énergie: L'équipe d'entretien doit effectuer des travaux d'inspection sur un pylône électrique d'une région donnée. Grâce à la détection automatique de la localisation par GPS, le chef d'équipe  retrouve sans trop d'effort le pylône. Une fois sur les lieux , une quittance automatique valide sa présence sur les lieux et permet la saisie du compte rendu. Ainsi, la fiabilité du processus d'audit est garantie et les preuves qui doit être fournis à des tiers sont réunis de manière efficace.

CareOffice Industrie equips RECO&RWASCO in Rwanda

25.10.2010 RWASCO provides water to Kigali City and all urban centers of Rwanda through its 17 water treatment plants. The water is treated according to the international standards. In order to meet current , specific water purification steps are taken that include: Physical and chemical treatment; and Laboratory analysis to assure the water quality. After these steps have been taken and it is ascertained that the water is safe, it is then distributed.

01.03.2009 Sogema benefited for several years of a robust experience in the field of water treatment. CareOffice equips ARA TOBL, one of the biggest South Tirol ( Italy ) water-treatment plant.

The peculiarity of this installation lies in the fact that it is completely underground in a moutain. It required the digging of an enormous cavern of a length of 326 m and a adduction canal of 921 m.

With their route network in Berlin-Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the ODEG Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH operates with 33 modern light combustion engine railcar 6 routes with 4.8 mio kilometers per year. The Cantus Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH is located in Nordost-Hessen and operates 4 routes in the location of Göttingen, Kassel, Fulda, Eisenach. They use 20 new 3-unit and six 4-unit electircal vehicles and a total of 3.6 kilometers per year. Both companies using CareOffice to schedule and document the extensive maintenance tasks for the railcars and infrastructure.

Mobiwork allows the operator, provided with PocketPC (mounted with a reader RFID), to carry out a round control on measurement points. By approaching PocketPC of the TAG, a list of controls to be realized is proposed with this last. It can be a question of the seizure of a parameter like a measurement (temperature, pressure, etc.) or a state (on, off, etc). When the round is finished, the data are automatically discharged in the CMMS CareOffice to generate statistics and predictive maintenance.
